7 things to tell yourself every day

5/30/2020

Let's take a second to talk about your inner voice. Not simply your thought patterns, negative or positive, but how you speak to yourself. When you stumble while trying something new, or fudge up a new recipe, for example- how do you speak to yourself? Are you frustrated, or embarrassed maybe? Or do you laugh, and remind yourself you are learning? This is your reminder, to be kind to yourself. Love yourself. Build yourself up. You're wonderful, and you -as much as anyone else- deserves your love and respect.

Download the PDF, and hang it by your front door, put it in the front of your folio, or another place you'll see it every day. Show yourself some love & let me know how it goes!

So let's talk about Blood Sugars for a second. Keeping your blood sugars balanced, is so helpful to keeping your body working beautifully! A great way to do that, is by following what Dr. Sears calls, The Sipping Solution. Make yourself a big, nutrient packed smoothie in the morning, and keep it in the fridge. Take sips of your delicious treat in between mealtimes, and with snacks. How easy is that?! My favorite smoothie making guide, comes from the No Time to Cookbook, which is filled with yummy, healthy recipes!

GOALS! GOALS! GOALS!

A goal without a plan, is just a wish.

I love that quote! If I were to ask you, "What do you wish for in life?" I am sure you could easily prattle off a list for me. However, if I asked you, "What are your goals right now?" I am sure you would offer me a shorter, but more detailed list. Wishing is easy, but manifesting your dreams and home takes a bit more work. I personally believe the first step to reaching any goal- is setting it! Write it down, map it out, feel it through. Give yourself *attainable* deadlines. What can you do in the next 10 days to help you reach your goal? How about the next month? Keep coming back to your plan. Update it. Rewrite it. Renew it. Refocus and carry your ass on! What you want in life already exists. So go out and get it! Here's a great tool for setting a new goal, or refocusing on your current goal. Got the download? Great! Now reach out. I want to hear from you! Share that goal with me. I'm excited to support you along your way.

What if I told you that simply focusing your energy on things that went well for you, things you were grateful for, would improve your mental state, diminish anxiety and depression, and most importantly- the benefits would be lasting? Practicing gratitude does exactly that! There is actually a lot of really great science behind this as well. Check out this study performed at Berkeley.

Creating your own gratitude practice can be easy, and only takes a few minutes a day! Here are a few ways to get started.
